Body as a Medium.

As a medium, we observe the body in its residue; what is left behind. What marks do we leave when we inhabit a space? How can we collect these markings, and do they have to be in the past tense? Collections from what has already happened but also imprints of what is occurring now. If we observe the body as a medium, how can duration come into play? What happens when you mark something with your body over and over again?

My Type - Saint Motel.

Dancing to the above song for three minutes and 23 seconds. Mapping my movements but also mapping my boredom.

A continuation of this physical and immediate form of mapping with the body. This time using a different medium to track the bodies movements. Note the fascination of the toes, and the body smeared with paint and charcoal.
